I love Irene Hannon’s books. Point of Danger, the first of her Triple Threat series, was no exception.
Point of Danger Story
In Point of Danger, Eve Reilly is a radio talk show host who is known for her controversial topics which often stir up a certain amount of reaction and antagonism from some listeners. Then one day, an apparently disgruntled listener decides to take matters a step further. The antagonist is apparently determined to get the company to close her show or for her to tone down her topics—a step she is not prepared to take.
Police detective Brent Lange is anxious to prove his new ranking in his department. When he meets Eve Reilly, he soon finds himself inheriting a case which doesn’t make sense. Nevertheless, he believes the string of threats, both verbal and physical, are becoming not only threatening to the show, but also holds the intention of getting rid of Eve.
Once again, Irene has excelled herself as she builds tension upon tension. If you enjoy nail-biting suspense with a Christian influence, you will really enjoy Point of Danger.
I was provided a complimentary copy of this novel by Revell & NetGalley. The opinions expressed here are completely my own and without influence.
