And now for more exciting news!

On 24th October, we hosted a Virtual LAUNCH PARTY on FaceBook.

To cater for our friends in the Far East and Australia and New Zealand, the posts and competitions remained open for 24 hours. So although they were not able to join in the real-time fun, they could still read the posts and enter for the prizes.

What happened at the launch party?

  • Every 10 minutes, for four hours, one of our authors posted something fresh.
  • Every 40 minutes a different team of authors took over as hostesses.
  • They shared information about their books
    • offered prizes
    • posed a question or set a puzzle  –  clues all showed on their covers (which were on show)
    • offered virtual snacks and drinks
    • and shared some recipes for scrumptious African treats.

Prizes!

In addition to smaller prizes being offered throughout the party, we had one amazing prize for one lucky guest who attended and participated for the full four hours. Here’s the prize she won!

Do you think she thought it worth spending four hours having fun with us? You bet she did!

And the cherry on the top?

The next day we discovered we had been awarded a second orange ribbon on Amazon! This time for being #1 in the New Releases section in the same genre (Spiritual).

Over to you:

[stextbox id=’info’]Did you attend? If so, did you enjoy it?
Did you miss it? On a scale of 1 (wouldn’t have enjoyed it one bit) to 10 (would have been one who stayed the whole time) where would you mark yourself? Please respond in the comment section.[/stextbox]

  1. Got my pre-order as soon as it came out. I’ll probably read the devotions according to my daily need and/or HS’s direction. I RSVPed for the party….yippee!

  2. Well, I love a good party, so I’m definitely going to be there. And as for reading in order – well, I’ll try, but I just might skip around a little too!!

  3. So very exciting! I have diarised the event and am looking forward to seeing my box set on my kindle. God bless you all and this amazing endeavor!
