Marion Ueckermann – and her Reflections from the Ocean

This entry is part 14 of the series In All Things

And it’s Friday again!

I thought time was supposed to be going slowly. Yet it seems to be speeding by as if someone has his foot stuck on the accelerator of his new Ferrari. It’s time once again for another interview with one of the South African authors involved in the boxed set, In All Things.

Today it’s my pleasure to introduce you (or re-introduce you) to popular Christian Romance writer, Marion Ueckermann, who took a break from her romance writing to share some devotional insights in her book, Reflections from the Ocean (and Surrounds).

How are you all today? Surviving the Lockdown or Stay Home measures in your particular country? What is the most difficult thing for you among your regulations? Please share below.

I head up a Facebook group for Christian Writers of Southern Africa (a.k.a. CWOSA – pronounced as in QUO zu).  Currently there is a book promotion of Christian Non-fiction Books titled, “For Such A Time As This.” I am proud to share that out of the 15 books available, 6 of them are from our group. I’ve decided to do a number of interviews of Christian Authors living in Southern Africa, and what better a plan than to start with the authors featured in this promotion.

Today, to kick off the series, I am interviewing Vida Li Sik who lives in Johannesburg, the epicenter of the global pandemic currently sweeping the globe.  read more

SC: Where were you born?
MU: Firstly, thanks for hosting me today on your blog, Shirl. I was born in Mufulira, Zambia a handful of decades ago. My paternal grandfather was a pure Scot and this gave me the incredible privilege of holding a British passport—a great money, time and effort saver when travelling.
